The Intellectual Property Association of Cambodia (“IPAC”) will be officially launched on August 17th 2016 at the Cambodia-Japan Cooperation Center (“CJCC”) at 14:00 to 16:00. IPAC is honored that the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce, H.E.TEKRETH Kamrang, representative of H.E. PAN Sorasak, Minister of Commerce will preside over the inauguration. IPAC also invited a representative from World Intellectual Property Organization (“WIPO”), President of Asean Intellectual Property Association (ASEAN IPA), many delegates from various countries, and Cambodian successful IP-conscious business persons, will also participate in the event as both special guests and invited speakers. The establishment of IPAC aims to promote public awareness of IP rights, capacity building and business network building for all stakeholders, and participation in IP law development and promotion of IP dispute resolution.
